At Perennials Store, we take as much care with your satisfaction as we do with our drought-tolerant perennials and fragrant native plants. While we hope every plant brings joy to your garden, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges are necessary.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return:

  • Plants must be in their original, resalable condition
  • All tags and original packaging must be intact
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required

Non-Returnable Items

To protect our living products, certain items cannot be returned:

  • Container Plants that have been removed from their original pots
  • Any Perennials showing signs of planting or soil disturbance
  • Fragrant plants that have been opened or used
  • All Proven Winners® plants after 7 days

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to return or exchange an item:

  1. Contact us within 15 days of receipt at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
  2. Wait for approval – Our team will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
  3. Package carefully – Securely pack the item(s) in the original packaging
  4. Ship back – Send the package to our nursery at:

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 5 business days):

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method
  • Credit card/PayPal refunds appear within 3-5 business days (depending on your financial institution)
  • You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed

Exchanges will be shipped once we receive your return, with the same shipping options as your original order.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your plants arrive damaged or incorrect, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damaged items and packaging. We’ll arrange for replacement or refund without requiring return of damaged goods.
